Skrill respects the intellectual property of others and expects the same for its own work. This page explains how to report content you believe infringes your copyright and how we respond.

Reporting infringement

If you believe material on Skrill infringes a copyright you own or represent, send a notice through the contact page containing:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  2. The address of the page on this site where the material appears.
  3. Your contact details: name, postal address, email address.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the owner.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

We acknowledge notices within two working days. Where a notice is complete and plausible, we remove or disable access to the material while we investigate, and notify the author. We aim to resolve notices within ten working days.

Counter-notices

If material you contributed is removed and you believe the removal was mistaken, send a counter-notice with your contact details, an identification of the removed material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed in error. We forward it to the complainant and may restore the material after ten working days unless notified of legal action.

Repeat infringers

Contributors who repeatedly infringe are barred from further contribution.
